#IRBSERIES2023 // Bondi IRB Ra

#IRBSERIES2023 // Bondi IRB Racing Team had a successful start to Round 1 of Surf Life Saving NSW Sharkskin IRB Racing Premiership.

Our first round was not the normal full two days of racing or all events due to forecasts of the conditions that were to be hitting the coast. Rained most of saturday and brought some tricky conditions to navigate.

Two events were raced in all age groups and Team Bondi achieved some great results and some great take-aways to build on for the next round.

Our 35+ Women and Under 23s Women brought home some great results and points for the team.

Congratulations to all the team for the hard work and team effort to get everyone on the line.

The Premiership Series Point Score will be decided by the accumulation of the four best results throughout the season for both event category and club points score.
The overall point scoring winner for each

Bondi win the Australian Maste

Bondi win the Australian Masters championships
Congratulations to our master’s team for winning our sixth consecutive Australian Masters Championship!
We went to Perth with our smallest team (just 24 competitors) in recent years and it seemed that it would be difficult to pull off another win against the strong home teams in WA. But this small and mighty team didn’t give up and fought for every point throughout the week.
Thank you to all our competitors — starting with everyone who competed in the ocean swim to give us a lead on Sunday. We had many outstanding performances in both individual and team events in the water and on the beach.
After the flags on Tuesday, it looked like we could finish just short. But our amazing surfing team of Harries, Simon Nothling, Amanda Cooper, Steve Hackers, Julie Pritchard and Louise Santos stayed strong to the very end to bring home the championships.
Thanks to
