It is with great sadness that late last night Bondi SLSBC Long Service member Pete Meyer lost his battle with Cancer.
Pete took on the fight against cancer like he took on the surf or running the ball up in football straight, hard, and he was so brave until the end.

Becoming one of the real characters of Bondi, his ability to make people laugh was second to none. Pete was an amazing athlete and surfer, with no wave too big or challenge too hard, he was one of the great ‘watermen’ of Bondi conquering every aquatic disciple. Pete, like many other Bondi members of the 80’s and 90’s, attended Waverley
